New BIRDS OF PREY Set Photos Show Off Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress
I’m a big fan of Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and I love that she’s been cast in the role of Huntress in Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). We’ve got some new photos from the set to share with you today that feature Winstead in the role.
Cathy Yan is directing the R-rated "girl-gang movie," and it also stars Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary , Rosie Perez as Montoya, Ewan McGregor as the film’s villain Black Mask, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain/Batgirl, and Chris Messina as the serial killer Victor Zsasz.
In Birds of Prey, Harley Quinn, Huntress, and Black Canary will team up to protect Cain when she comes across a diamond belonging to McGregor’s Black Mask, a kingpin in Gotham City’s criminal underworld.
I’m actually kinda excited for this movie. I’m a fan of these characters, and I’m hoping that we get a kickass film that we’re going to love.
Birds of Prey is set to be released on February 7th, 2020.
