New GHOST IN THE SHELL Featurette Focuses on the Creation of the Iconic Shelling Sequence
Another behind-the-scenes featurette has been released for director Rupert Sanders' Ghost in the Shell, and it focuses on the creation of the iconic shelling sequence of the story. It's pretty awesome to see all the detailed and intricate work that went into bringing this scene to life with both practical effects and CG technology.
Ghost in the Shell follows the Major (Scarlett Johansson), a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
The movie is set to be released in theaters on March 31.
