New Promo Banner Revealed For GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS
We recently got our first teaser for Godzilla: King of the Monsters as Millie Bobbie Brown seemed to be trying to contact Monarch. Now we have the official logo and it looks pretty awesome.
The movie’s Facebook page updated its cover photo just before Comic-Con and there’s quite a bit to see. Of course, the tagline, which reads, “their reign begins” is pretty ominous and I’m loving the font and color of the logo itself.
One of the biggest criticisms of the banner is the fact that Brown can be seen front and center instead of everyone’s favorite giant lizard. Some have pointed out that it looks like you can see Godzilla’s spine behind Brown, but everyone is worried that the movie will focus too much on the humans.
Hopefully, we’ll get a better look at the monsters from the movie and we’ll get plenty of Godzilla and friends fighting. Speaking of fighting, one eagle-eyed fan commented that if you look hard enough you can see what appears to be the outline of Rodan in the bottom left part of the banner, just under the logo.
What’s your take on this banner? Do you see Rodan? Do you see anything we missed?
Godzilla: King of Monsters is set to release May 2019.
