New Survey Suggests PC Gamers Have the Foulest Mouths
When you play games online, you’re bound to hear some swear words thrown out there. It’s just what happens. Well, OnlineGambling.com recently looked at a lot of comments from a variety of gaming subreddits to look at which platform and which games incurred the most swearing. They also looked for the most popular words. Now, I’m not sure how good of a method this is, so I’d advise taking things with a grain of salt, but some of the findings are actually pretty interesting.
For starters, they found that PC gamers were the worst offenders with Xbox gamers having the cleanest mouths. They also found that Diablo players don’t swear very much while the popular MOBA DOTA 2 was the worst offender. I honestly am surprised to not see League of Legends on this list. I’m now curious how it would rank. What has been your experience with swearing in gaming? The study isn’t perfect and has many flaws, but it’s still an interesting point to discuss.
