New Trailer for Adrien Brody's THE BRUTALIST
A24 has released a full trailer for Adrien Brody's upcoming film The Brutalist, which tells the story of a brilliant architect who emerges from the Holocaust in WWII and resettles in America to start a new life.
In the film, “Escaping post-war Europe, visionary architect László Toth arrives in America to rebuild his life, his work, and his marriage to his wife Erzsébet after being forced apart during wartime by shifting borders and regimes.
“On his own in a strange new country, László settles in Pennsylvania, where the wealthy and prominent industrialist Harrison Lee Van Buren recognizes his talent for building. But power and legacy come at a heavy cost...”
The Brutalist was directed by Brady Corbet (The Childhood of a Leader and Vox Lux) and it also stars Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Emma Laird, Isaach De Bankolé, and Alessandro Nivola.
The movie was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Drama, and it’s been getting great reviews. It looks like a film worth checking out!
A24 will debut the film in select US theaters, including 70mm projection, starting on December 20th, 2024.
