New Trailer For HBO's VINYL: "New, Fresh, Fast, Exciting"

Acclaimed director Martin Scorsese and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger have teamed up for a new HBO drama called Vinyl, and they've attracted some top-tier talent to help them put it together. Scorsese reunites with his Boardwalk Empire showrunner Terence Winter and has actors like Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, and Juno Temple on board in the story of a record producer trying to save his company as punk, disco, and hip-hop come to the forefront in the 1970s. HBO has just released the new trailer for the show, which looks pretty damn intense.

Vinyl premieres this coming January. What do you think about the new trailer? Does this look like a show you'll be checking out?

From Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter, this new drama series is set in 1970s New York. A ride through the sex- and drug-addled music business at the dawn of punk, disco, and hip-hop, the show is seen through the eyes of a record label president, Richie Finestra, played by Bobby Cannavale, who is trying to save his company and his soul without destroying everyone in his path.
