New Trailer for the Horror Film HEART EYES Promises a Brutal and Bloody Valentines Day
Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for the slasher horror film Heart Eyes, which introduces the “Heart Eyes Killer,” who for the past several years has wreaked havoc on Valentine’s Day by stalking and murdering romantic couples.
As you’ll see, the movie promises to deliver a bloody Valentine’s Day, and if you’re a slasher movie fan this one includes all the tropes of the genre and lots of super gory kills.
In the film, “Two co-workers (Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding) are mistaken for a couple by a murderer in Seattle on Valentine's Day. Forced to evade the killer, they must navigate the city's romantic landscape while also working together to survive.”
This movie look like a lot of fun! It comes from filmmaker Josh Ruben, with a screenplay co-written by Christopher Landon and Michael Kennedy (Freaky, It's a Wonderful Knife, Time Cut).
The filmmaker said: "My love of horror is rivaled only by my love of romantic comedies. [It's] my most challenging genre bender to date: a brutal slasher in a nostalgic rom-com universe."
The movie also stars Gigi Zumbado, Jordana Brewster, and Devon Sawa.
Sony Pictures will release Heart Eyes in theaters on February 7th, 2025.
