New Trailer for THE MIGHTY DUCKS: GAME CHANGERS; March Premiere Date Announced

Disney+ has shared a new trailer for its upcoming Mighty Ducks sequel series, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. They’ve also announced that the 10 episode series will premiere on March 26th!

The series looks like it’s going to be a wonderful and uplifting continuation of the franchise, and I’m actually pretty excited about it! I grew up on the original films, and I loved them, I’ve always liked stories about underdogs rising to the occasion. This series carries that same spirit and inspiration as the original movies.

The series sees the return of Emilio Estevez as Coach Gordon Bombay. He is joined by Lauren Graham and Brady Noon, as well as Swayam Bhatia, Taegen Burns, Julee Cerda, Bella Higginbotham, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Maxwell Simkins, and De’Jon Watts in the cast.

The series is set in present-day Minnesota, “where the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan (Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Graham), set out to build their own ragtag team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports.”
