20th Century Fox has released a fantastic new featurette for director Matt Reeves' War for the Planet of the Apes. It offers us a cool and fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the incredible visual effects work that is being done for the film by WETA.
I love seeing the process of how visual effects are done for films. There's no doubt that this film is going to look amazing in that aspect, but I've been hearing the film as a whole is freakin' spectacular and that it delivers on all levels of great filmmaking.
In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter in the rebooted take on the enduring science fiction franchise, Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel (Woody Harrelson).
