NIER REPLICANT VER.1.22474487139… Has a Ton of Added Content
Square Enix is out to make fans of NieR Replicant very happy. The gaming company recently revealed a ton of extra content coming to NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, the modern retelling of a cult classic game. In addition to remastered graphics, the soundtrack has been re-recorded, there is new voice dialogue, extra dungeons are added, new costumes including some themed on NieR:Automata, the NieR:Automata soundtrack is playable, and there’s new story content.
The all new “Mermaid” episode will give players a new scenario to explore with an exhilarating boss battle. The story itself features a little girl and wrecked ship. There will also be the extra dungeons from “15 Nightmares” which was released in Japan as DLC. When you complete the dungeons you’ll get new weapons, the Kabuki and Samurai costumes, and the ability to change enemy bullets to look like Emil’s face.
As mentioned earlier, players will be able to change the music tracks to the soundtrack from NieR:Automata. To unlock this, simply play through the game once. There will also be guest appearances in the game of the English and Japanese voice actors of 2B and 9S. If all that isn’t enough, you’ll be able to download the free 4 YoRHa costume pack which features weapons and costumes for fans including 9S, 2B, and A2.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on April 23.
