The Russo Brothers Team Up With Noah Hawley For FX Crime Drama THE MASTERMIND

FX is developing a crime drama with Fargo series creator Noah Hawley and Marvel directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who are executive producers on the project. The series is currently titled The Mastermind.

Variety reports the series is based on the true story of Paul Le Roux, a computer programmer and criminal cartel boss who became a DEA informant.

The Russo brothers are set to direct the series in addition to executive producing. You may know the Russos as key players in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They directed both Captain America: Winter Solider and Captain America: Civil War. They are also working on the upcoming third and fourth installments of the Avengers.

Hawley, who will executive produce, is also the showrunner on the popular FX series Legion. Fargo is one of the network's most decorated series, having been nominated for 16 Emmy Awards for its third season.
