Here’s a fun video from Rhetty for History that will give some of you a blast of nostalgia! It spotlights the most popular toys from the 1980s that all of the kids wanted for Christmas!

This includes models, action figures from Star Wars, He-Man and She-Ra, Transformers, and, my personal favorite, GI Joe.

Other toys include Rainbow Brite, Teddy Ruxpin, Glo-Worm, Care Bears, Cabbage Patch Kids, the Walkman, and Rubik’s Cube.

The video came with the following note: “There were lots of toys that 80s kids wanted. Many of them spent hours thumbing through the Christmas Sears and Montgomery Ward catalogs just dreaming about what they may receive as a gift. In this video we will take a look back at some of the 1980s most popular Christmas toys!
