Paramount Network Orders COYOTE Series About US-Mexico Border Starring Michael Chiklis

Paramount Network has given a 10-episode order to a new series, Coyote, an hour-long scripted drama involving the controversy surrounding the U.S.-Mexico border. Michael Chiklis (The Shield) is set to star and executive produce, alongside executive producer and director Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad). Deadline reports the following synopsis:

Coyote is the story of Ben Clemens (Chiklis), who after 32 years as a border patrol agent, is forced to work for the very people he spent his career trying to keep out of America. Now exposed to life on the other side of the wall, Ben will start to question his black and white views of the world, challenging his ideology and his loyalties.

This sounds like an incredibly timely and poignant series that will strike a chord with viewers. The series is in pre-production, so hopefully we will see it out in 2020. Are you interested in this subject matter?
