PENNYWORTH Casts Polly Walker as Peggy Sykes

The upcoming DC series, Pennyworth, has cast Polly Walker as Peggy Sykes. Peggy will be a recurring role in the show and is the sister of Bet Sykes (played by Paloma Faith). She is described as:

“Peggy Sykes - sister of Bet Sykes - is one of Lancashire’s busiest and most successful dominatrixes. The sensible matriarch in a family of maniacs, Peggy is fiercely loyal, endlessly resourceful, and lives by her own strange but rigorous moral code.”

This show is definitely going to be interesting. Here’s a brief synopsis in case you don’t know what the show’s about:

“It follows Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier in his 20’s, who forms a security company and goes to work with a young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge), who’s not yet Bruce’s father, in 1960s London.”

The show was given a 10-episode order earlier this year and it will premiere on Epix. No specific release date has been set.
