Practice Your Funny Overdubs with WHAT THE DUB?!
If you enjoy party games and overdubbing bad movies with your own dialogue, What The Dub?! may be perfect for you. Releasing on Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One on April 8 from Wide Right Interactive, players will get to try their hand at RiffTrax and Mystery Science Theater 3000 humor. In the game, clips from B-movies, PSAs, and more will be played with some of the dialogue missing. Then, you and your friends will create your own dialogue to go in the spot. Then, everyone gets to vote on their favorites. This is a game that I think I need.
What The Dub?! is a local multiplayer party game where each player overdubs missing dialogue from hilariously awful B-movies, woefully outdated PSAs, and bizarre industrial films, with their own witty (or just plain stupid) dubs. Their dubs are then pitted against other players in a head-to-head clash of comedy. The players – along with up to 6 audience members – then vote for their favorite dub! What The Dub?! takes “bad movie night” and expands it into an interactive, fast-paced, multiplayer game that friends and family, both local and afar, can enjoy!
In What The Dub?! there can be up to 6 dubbers and up to 6 audience members to vote. Players interact with the game using any device with an internet browser. This includes phones, tablets, computers, and more.
