Release Dates Pushed Back For BLACK ADAM, THE FLASH, AQUAMAN 2, SHAZAM 2, WONKA, and More
If you thought that the days of movie theatrical releases being pushed back were over, you’d be wrong. Dwayne Johnson recently announced in a video that the release dates for both Black Adam and the animated film DC League of Super-Pets have been pushed back.
Not long after that, Warner Bros. announced released date changes for several other films including The Flash, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Wonka, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and Meg 2: The Trench. Here are all the new release dates:
Black Adam movies from July 29 to October 21st.
DC League of Super-Pets moves from May 20 to July 29.
The Flash moves from November 4 to June 23, 2023.
Aquaman moves from December 16 to March 17, 2023.
Wonka moves from March 17, 2023, to December 15, 2023.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods moves up from June 2, 2023, to December 16, 2022
Meg 2: The Trench has been set for August, 4, 2023.
Johnson does his best to make the Black Adam release date changes sound exciting describing the delays as “movin’ and groovin'” and “planting two flags” in the 2022 calendar. There’s no word on why the release dates were changed, but it’s so funny to me how Johnson attempts to try to make this such big and exciting news. You can watch the video below:
