RICK AND MORTY Season 8 Promo Poke Fun at Voice Changes
Rick and Morty is set to return for Season 8 on Adult Swim next year, and the first promo spot has been released. The promo is takes the opportunity to poke fun at the voice cast changes happening in the last few seasons.
Rick and Morty Season 7 premiered with a huge change, as co-creator and voice actor Justin Roiland was replaced by two other actors, and they will really be able to put their own stamp on things in Season 8. In the promo Rick auditioning new actors to replace Jerry.
The show was also created by Dan Harmon, and it follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe.
It was also previously announced that the show had been renewed for two new seasons. This means we should be expecting new episodes of the show through 2029.
Harmon said in a statement: “Nobody wants a universe without Rick and Morty,. Fortunately, the list of places to go remains infinite.”
The series features the voice cast of Ian Cardoni as Rick and Harry Belden as Morty—beginning in Season 7 following Roiland’s exit — as well as Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke and Harmon, to name a few.
