Sam Raimi Producing a New Thriller Titled BE MY EYES with Director of CHILD'S PLAY Lars Klevberg
The production team of Sam Raimi and Craig Flores, who recently produced the film Crawl, are developing a new contained genre thriller for Paramount titled Be My Eyes. The movie will be helmed by Lars Klevberg, the director behind Child’s Play and Polaroid.
Be My Eyes follows a “law student who volunteers to receive anonymous video calls from blind people through an App to help them ‘see’ and do simple tasks. One night, she is pulled into a race against time when she gets a terrifying call from a blind woman in the midst of an abduction.”
That certainly sounds like an intense story! One that I’m definitely interested in watching play out! I enjoy thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat and make your palms sweat. This seems like it’ll be one of those movies. It was written by Jud Cremata with rewrites currently underway by Pet Sematary scribe Jeff Buhler.
