Sega Unveils Sonic and Tails As Playable Characters in Upcoming SUPER MONKEY BALL BANANA MANIA

Sega has just announced that Sonic and Tails will be unlockable characters in their upcoming Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania launching October 5, 2021. This announcement comes as a fun anniversary gift for fans as Super Monkey Ball celebrates its 20th anniversary and Sonic celebrates his 30th anniversary. The duo will engage in classic Monkey Ball gameplay while collecting rings instead of bananas. They will be joining Beat from Jet Set Radio as well as some as of yet announced guest stars. The best part? Sonic and Tails will be unlockable through normal gameplay on all platforms, no need to spend extra on DLC to get them. 

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania will release on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Additionally, the Digital Deluxe version will support Xbox Smart Delivery. For Playstation owners, a digital or physical copy of the game for Playstation 4 will also allow you play on the Playstation 5 for no additional cost.
