Oh, wow! Well, this might be the messiest release of any game in history. Cyberpunk 2077 was not only delayed multiple times this year, but it didn’t release the PS5 or Series X versions even though it advertised to be on them. Also, the game is riddled with bugs, game-breaking issues, and a variety of visual quality problems. But now, after CD Projekt Red has talked about possibly giving refunds for people who felt particularly disappointed or unhappy with the game’s quality and content, Sony has removed the game from their digital Playstation store.

Here is their written statement:

SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store.  SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice. Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund.  Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.

If you feel that you want a refund, there is a link on this page HERE (the original post). Between glowing reviews on the PC versions to abysmal reviews on the console versions, this game is easily one of the more polarizing gaming experiences of the year. Do you feel that users deserve a refund? How should CD Projekt Red address the Sony community now? Less us know in the comments below what you think should be done or if you’re loving Cyberpunk 2077 regardless of all the troubles or drama.
