Spider-Man Is Joining MARVEL'S AVENGERS Post-Launch as a PlayStation Exclusive

Attention Spider-Man fans. If you are planning on playing Marvel’s Avengers on a PlayStation console, you’re in luck. If you are planning on playing the game on any other platform, I’m sorry for your loss. It was recently confirmed that the wall-crawling superhero would join the roster of playable characters in the upcoming game from Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics, but he’ll be exclusive to Sony’s platforms.

As far as design goes, we haven’t seen an image of him in-game yet, but on the official blog it is said that fans will see influence from both Steve Ditko’s version and John Romita Sr.’s version of the web-slinger.

Spider-Man will release in 2021 as a free DLC for PlayStation owners. The question is, will other platforms have their own exclusives? Marvel’s Avengers launches on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One on September 4 with a launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X this holiday season.
