TALES FROM THE MISTS Is a New Ravenloft DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Show

There are a lot of YouTube shows and podcasts of people playing Dungeons & Dragons. A newcomer to the trend, though, is Tales from the Mists, which is set in the Ravenloft campaign setting. This means that gothic horror fans will greatly appreciate it. Another perk is that while they are using Ravenloft, they’re trying to explore more lesser-known areas of the setting that many will not be familiar with.

The most unique thing about Tales from the Mists is that there are six players, but only four of them will be constant. The other two “guests” will be around for four episodes and then they will be rotated out. This is an interesting touch that sounds like a great way to keep things fresh but can also create some weird moments as these guest characters are constantly coming and going.

In my opinion, the video is not needed or helpful at all, which means that Tales from the Mists would work perfectly as a podcast without fear of missing anything.

TK Johnson is the DM, and the players include Lysa Chen, Kayla Cline, Hadeel al-Massari, and Ashley Warren with the first special guests being Jess Ross and Hannah Rose.

Episode 1 - Run with the Hunted After an investigation into murders at a local farm went awry, our heroes find themselves fleeing custody. Their escape will lead them through the mists into the realm of Kartakass, a domain rife with lycanthropes and the mysterious disappearances of beautiful youths by something lurking in the deep, dark catacombs.
