The Director of The New HALLOWEEN Movie Wants to Reboot The GHOULIES and CRITTERS

David Gordon Green, the director behind the latest Halloween film has a couple other classic 80s horror franchises that he’d like to reboot!

During a Reddit AMA, the filmmaker revealed that he would “like to make a little Critters/Ghoulies movie."

It’s really only a matter of time before these films get rebooted so why not let Gordon Green take them on!? I like what he did with Halloween, and I think he and Danny McBride could do some really fun things with either of these franchises.

In that same Q&A, McBride shared a a story of how he asked his parents for The Goonies when he was a kid for Christmas and they ended up getting him The Ghoulies instead, which is kind a hilariously traumatizing mistake.

I enjoyed the Ghoulies and Critters film franchise, and I’d be up for reboot set years after the events of the first films. Would you like to see Green take them on?
