Kickass First Trailer WONDER WOMAN 1984 and Four Character Posters
It’s here! Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 and it looks freakin’ fantastic! I really liked the first movie and still think it’s one of the best DC films that has been made, so I’ve been really excited about this sequel and seeing the kind of story that it delivers. Now that the first trailer has been released, I can see director Patty Jenkins could very well deliver a hell of a great sequel! I also love where the story is headed.
This trailer is also loaded with some wicked cool action sequences and I’m totally digging Wonder Woman’s shiny new costume!
The film’s star Gal Gadot has already seen a cut of the film and in a recent interview, she explained that it made her cry:
“For an actor to see himself playing in a movie is always a very strange thing, because you’re very judgmental about yourself and you’re very nervous and all you see is you, and I got to say the first time I watched Wonder Woman [1984], and it was the very first cut, the very first director’s cut, I forgot it was me and I was is invested even though I shot the whole movie and I read the script a million times and we did it and filmed it for eight whole months and all of a sudden seeing all the puzzle pieces coming together and seeing this huge, grand… I called Patty crying. I had an even bigger reaction than I did for the first one.”
That’s pretty cool to hear that the film had such an emotional effect on her. I know we’ve got a long what to go before we get to see the film for yourselves, but I can’t wait!
The movie also stars Chris Pine returning as Steve Trevor, Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord and Kristin Wiig as Barbara Minerva a.k.a. Cheetah. we get to see all of these characters in action in the new trailer. I also featured four character posters of them below the trailer.
Wonder Woman 1984 opens in theaters on June 5th, 2020.
