THE OUTER WORLDS Is Getting a Physical Release for Nintendo Switch But Is Delayed Because of the Coronavirus
The coronavirus has been having a large impact in the world around us. The latest geek news involving this deadly virus is that The Outer Worlds will not be released on the Nintendo Switch on March 6 as previously planned. Due to the outbreak in China, Virtuous Games (the company behind the port) is closed. This led to publisher Private Division releasing the following statement via Twitter:
Unfortunately, we don’t know when the new release date will be, but on the plus side, it looks like there will now be a physical version of the game available for the Switch. Previously, you’d be able to buy a download code, but no cartridge would be provided. Now that’s changed apparently.
