The READY OR NOT Filmmakers Are Set to Develop High School Horror Movie REUNION

The filmmaking team behind Ready Or Not and the upcoming Scream movie, Radio Silence, have signed on to direct and produce a high school horror film set up at MGM titled Reunion. Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, are writing the script. The previously worked on Ready or Not and multiple episodes of Castle Rock and the horror IFC comedy Stan Against Evil. 

The Radio Silence team consists of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, and Chad Villella, and this sounds like it’ll be a fun film project for them to jump into.

In Reunion, “the horrific experience of high school reunions is taken to a new extreme when a group of uninspired old friends become the only hope for survival against an unwelcome shape-shifting creature.”

Yeah, that sounds like the kind of movie I’d enjoy watching, and the fact that it’s coming from this creative team means that it'll probably end up being even better than we think it will. We’ll just have to wait and see!

Project X Entertainment’s William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein (Scream) and Vinson Films’ Tripp Vinson (Ready or Not, The Exorcism of Emily Rose) are also producing the film.
