The Russo Bros. Considered Including Marvel's TV Characters in INFINITY WAR

While watching Avengers: Infinity War for the fourth time, the thought finally crossed my mind... what were Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and The Punisher doing during the events of the film!? How did Thanos snapping his fingers with the Infinity Gauntlet effect them? Will the Netflix series' even acknowledge what happened?! Obviously, I have a lot of questions.

Those characters are set in the same universe, and in a recent interview with Variety, director Anthony Russo revealed that they actually considered using the TV characters in Infinity War! He explains why they didn't:

"We made the briefest consideration of [including TV characters in Infinity War]. When we’re alone in a room with [screenwriters Christopher] Markus and [Stephen] McFeely, we consider every idea. We like thinking of everything. But it seemed like the story that had been told within the movies was so specific and elaborate already that once we started working through the story, we knew we had our hands full just with this set of characters and narratives."

I totally understand why they didn't use any of the TV characters, and I doubt we will ever see them make their big screen debut. With all of those characters getting new seasons, I assume that they were spared, unless their stories are set in a different timeline.

What do you think was going on with the Marvel TV characters during Infinity War? I'd like to see what they were all doing!

Wouldn't it be hilarious if in the middle of the first episode of Iron Fist Season 2, Danny Rand just disintegrated into ash!? That would be amazing!
