Here’s we go! We’ve got a trailer for yet another shark attack thriller for you to dive into titled Into The Deep. Jaws actor Richard Dreyfuss is in the film and face off against the ocean's most deadly predator… again.
The film is set off the coast of Madagascar, and the story follows a young father and his daughter, Cassidy, who share a playful swim until a looming shark attack shatters their idyllic moment.
“Traumatised by the incident, Cassidy grows into adulthood plagued by fear, until her grandfather, Seamus, an oceanography professor, takes her under his wing to conquer her demons.
“Years later, Cassidy, now married to Gregg, embarks on a dive expedition to Reunion Island, only to find herself entangled in a perilous situation involving modern-day pirates and a vengeful great white shark.
“Forced to confront her deepest fears again to survive, Cassidy must navigate treacherous waters both physical and psychological, grappling with her past trauma while facing imminent danger.”
The movie stars Scout Taylor-Compton, Jon Seda, Stuart Townsend, and AnnaMaria Demara. Like most the shark movies that are made these days, this looks cheap and cheesy, but believe it or not, some people like these movies!
Into the Deep is directed by Christian Sesma, and Signature Ent. will release the film on VOD in the UK starting January 27th, 2025.
