Trailer For Hugh Grant's Horror Film HERETIC About Two Mormon Missionaries Who Knock on the Wrong Door
A24 has released the first trailer for a new horror film titled Heretic, which comes from A Quiet Place writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who wrote the script and will direct the film.
The movie is said to follow two Mormon sister missionaries “who attempt to convert a man that turns out to be far more dangerous than they could have anticipated.”
The movie stars Hugh Grant (D&D: Honor Among Thieves), Chloe East (The Fabelmans) and Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets) and it looks like this could be a fun and creepy horror movie!
The official logline reads: “Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed, becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse.”
The movie is sure to have an interesting twist in the story and I’m curious to see how the story plays out. I never thought I’d see a mainstream horror movie about Mormon Missionaries. I also like that High Grant is playing a dark and twisted villain.
I’m looking forward to watching this! A24 will release Heretic in theaters on November 15, 2024.
