Trailer For Netflix's Biblical Film MARY Which Stars Noa Cohen and Anthony Hopkins
Netflix has released the trailer for a Biblical movie titled Mary, which is another film that will tell the story of the birth of Jesus.
Mary was directed by DJ Caruso (Disturbia, Eagle Eye, I Am Number Four, Redeeming Love), and it tells the story through the eyes of Mary, who is played by Noa Cohen (Infinity, 8200). Anthony Hopkins also stars in the film as King Herod.
The synopsis reads: “Through Mary's eyes, this coming-of-age biblical epic is the story of one of history's most profound figures & the remarkable journey that led to the birth of Jesus.
“Chosen to bring the Messiah into the world, Mary is shunned following a miraculous conception & forced into hiding.
“When King Herod orders a murderous hunt for her newborn baby, Mary and Joseph (Ido Tako), go on the run – bound by faith and driven by courage – to save his life at all costs.”
The ensemble cast also includes Stephanie Nur, Susan Brown, Ori Pfeffer, Eamon Farren, Hilla Vidor, Mili Avital, Gudmundur Thorvaldsson, Dudley O'Shaughnessy, and Keren Tzur.
The film will be released on Netflix on December 6th, 2024. It looks like it could be a decent film.
