Trailer for Netflix's Trauma Center Medical Procedural Thriller Series PULSE

Netflix has released a trailer for its medical procedural thriller series Pulse, which is set in Miami at a fictional hospital. The series is being pitched as Netflix's first English-language medical procedural.

If you enjoy watching shows like this, maybe this is something you think will be worth checking out. I enjoy watching medical show s,and right now, Max’s The Pitt is one of the best I’ve seen in years. Pulse looks nowhere as good as that, but it’s still sure to offer some entertainment.

The synopsis reads: "Life can change in a heartbeat. As a hurricane barrels towards Miami's busiest Level 1 Trauma Center, third-year resident Dr. Danny Simms (Willa Fitzgerald) is unexpectedly thrust into a promotion when beloved Chief Resident Dr. Xander Phillips (Colin Woodell) is suspended.

“Amid the worsening storm and an onslaught of trauma cases, the hospital goes into lockdown, and Danny and Phillips must find a way to work together - even as the bombshell details of a complicated and illicit romance between them begin to spill out.

“The rest of the E.R. is left to process the fallout of their relationships while balancing their own challenges, both personal & professional, as they work under the pressure of life-or-death stakes. Because for this tight-knit group of doctors, saving patients' lives is often less complicated than living their own.”

The show stars Willa Fitzgerald, Colin Woodell, Justina Machado, Jack Bannon, Jessie T. Usher, Jessy Yates, Chelsea Muirhead, and Daniela Nieves. Also with Néstor Carbonell, Jessica Rothe, Santiago Segura, Ash Santos, and Arturo Del Puerto.

Pulse is created and co-showrun by filmmaker Zoe Robyn, a writer on Hawaii Five-0 and The Equalizer. Netflix will release Pulse on April 3rd, 2025.
