Trailer for New Supernatural Drama Series THE GIRL IN THE WOODS

Peacock has announced a new show produced by Crypt TV, The Girl in the Woods, set to release October 21. The show will consist of 8 episodes starring Stefanie Scott, Misha Osherovich, Sofia Bryant, Will Yun Lee, Kylie Liya Page, Reed Diamond, and Leonard Roberts.

Based on Crypt TV’s short films The Door in the Woods and its sequel The Girl in the Woods the new series will follow Carrie as she escapes from a mysterious cult. This cult has dedicated themselves to protecting a door in the woods that houses monsters on the other side.

The trailer looks interesting and like it might be trying to fill the void left by Supernatural. It looks a little cheesy as most shows of this nature tend to be, but it still looks like a fun show to watch to get ready for Halloween.
