New Trailer For The Werewolf Horror Movie THE FOREST HILLS; Shelley Duvall’s Final Film
Here’s a new trailer for the upcoming werewolf horror film titled The Forest Hills, which is the final movie that Shelley Duvall (The Shining) appeared in before she passed away.
The movie also stars Edward Furlong (Terminator 2), Dee Wallace (The Howling), and Jamie Marsh (The Forsaken, Killer App, X-Files, Best Laid Plans). It was directed by Scott Goldberg, and it looks like a brutal and bloody flick!
The Forest Hills follows “a disturbed man who is tormented by nightmarish visions, after enduring head trauma while camping in the Catskill Mountains.”
“Duvall will play the mother of the mentally and emotionally disturbed Rico (Chiko Mendez), who serves as his inner voice.”
Furlong takes on the role of Billy, a man who influences Rico to believe that he can become a werewolf. The film will apparently see Furlong’s character transform into a werewolf in the movie.
Goldberg said: “For the transformation process throughout the film, we are doing all practical special effects. There is absolutely no CGI for the transformation sequences because we grew up watching films in the early 80s that had to create the horror through practical special effects.”
He went on to say: “We are huge fans of The Shining and it’s honestly one of my favorite horror movies of all time, up there with John Carpenter’s Halloween and George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead with the dark tones they delivered in their movies, along with perfect scores and elements that make them my personal favorites.
“Shelley contributed to The Shining being an absolute masterpiece by giving her all, and performing in a way that really showcased the fear and horror of a mother in isolation.”
The Forest Hills will be released in select theaters beginning October 4th.
