Trailer for the Inspirational Little League Baseball Movie YOU GOTTA BELIEVE with Luke Wilson and Greg Kinnear

Here’s a trailer for an upcoming baseball movie called You Gotta Believe, which stars Luke Wilson and Greg Kinnear. The movie tells the inspiration true story of a Little League baseball team in 2002.

The film centers on “one team's transformational journey from district underdog to taking its place in the Little League record books – the story of Bobby Ratliff.

“After dedicating the season to a teammate's ailing father, a group of underestimated youth baseball players on the team Westside All-Stars from Fort Worth, Texas, takes their Cinderella run all the way to the 2002 Little League World Series — culminating in a record-breaking showdown that became an instant ESPN classic.”

This sounds like a great and heartwarming story of a “group of young boys who, after a teammate's father is diagnosed with cancer, really banded together and learned to play the game they loved for a cause much greater than themselves."

The movie comes from writer and director Ty Roberts, and it also stars Sarah Gadon, Lew Temple, Michael Cash, Etienne Kellici, and Molly Parker. I enjoy cheesy inspirational sports films, and this one looks pretty good.

Well Go USA will release You Gotta Believe in theaters on August 30th, 2024
