Trailer For The Psychological Mystery-Thriller THE BAY OF SILENCE with Olga Kurylenko and Brian Cox
Vertical Entertainment has released the first trailer for the upcoming psychological mystery-thriller, The Bay of Silence, which they acquired the rights to earlier this year.
The movie stars Claes Bang (Dracula), Olga Kurylenko (Oblivion), and Brian Cox (Succession). The movie is based on the novel of the same name written by Lisa St. Aubin de Terán, and this is the synopsis:
The story follows Will (Bang) as he realizes his wife Rosalind (Kurylenko) and their three children have suddenly disappeared and sets off on a frantic search across Europe. After locating them in a remote village in northern France, Will is horrified to learn his infant son has mysteriously died and sets out to discover the truth, finding himself at odds with Rosalind’s former stepfather, Milton (Cox), who wants to protect her for his own private reasons.
This looks like a dark and seriously intense flick with a compelling story that might be worth checking out. The film was directed by Paula van der Oest (Black Butterflies) from a screenplay by Caroline Goodall (Hunter Killer).
The Bay of Silence is set to hit virtual cinemas and VOD on August 14th.
