Veronica is Hunting Down a Serial Bomber in New Trailer For VERONICA MARS Season 4
We’ve got a new intense trailer for Veronica Mars Season 4 for you to check out today and it teases more details on the story that this next chapter entails. Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) finds herself thrust into an intense and heavy situation and her home town of Neptune comes under attack by a serial bomber. She is on the hunt for the killer and suspects that J.K. Simmons has something to do with it.
I’m so happy that this series has been brought back for at least one more season. I hope this isn’t the end, but I’ll enjoy whatever I can get!
Here’s the synopsis for the series:
Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the family of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.
When previously talking about the new season, Bell made sure to let fans know that it’s going to be much darker than what we’ve seen in previous seasons. “I want to brace fans for that” she said, “that it's going to be darker and bigger and more cinematic and definitely a little bit different." So far, no one has complained about that.
Bell will be joined by returning actors Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III, Francis Capra, Max Greenfield, Ken Marino, Daran Norris, David Starzyk, Adam Rose, and Ryan Devlin. Then the new members of the cast include Dawn Lewis, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Patton Oswalt, Clifton Colins Jr., Izabela Vidovic, Tyler Alvare, and Mary McDonell.
Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright wrote the new series, along with Heather V. Regnier, David Walpert, Raymond Obstfeld, and, of course, NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Veronica Mars Season 4 will premiere on July 26th.
