Vin Diesel Shares First Look Photo Teasing His ROCK 'EM SOCK 'EM ROBOTS Project

As always, Vin Diesel has a lot of projects in the works, many of them being sequels within popular franchises, but one is a brand new film coming out of Mattel.

Four years ago, it was announced that Diesel was set to star in a movie adaptation of the kids game Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots, but it’s been fairly quiet since then. But after the success of the toy company’s Barbie in 2023, they were ready to move forward full steam ahead.

Ryan Engle, who previously adapted Rampage, has written the screenplay that will reportedly follow a father and son who form an unlikely bond with an advanced war machine, in a story similar to Hugh Jackman’s Real Steel (2011).

We still don’t have any new casting info or further story details, but Diesel has shared the post below on social media, which features two Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots, and the caption “Childhood dreams coming to life…”

Check it out below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to this movie.
